							Rob Simpson plays theKeyboard/Organ. His impish look seems to say, "Just turn me loose ! I'll crank this instument up and I'll make it rock !" And he did. Rob shared his position with budding young virtuoso, Robin Lohrey, who played the first concert session (Sept. 13th).
	Long-time resident of San Juan Island, the unflappable Tom Starr is locally known to blow a cool (and hot) trumpet. Tom has played in local bands and musical ensembles for years.
								Guitarist Jonathan Piff, the "riff" master, displayed adept virtuosity as his fingers improvised around the melodies. His mastery of the guitar was noted and appreciated by all.
	The cornerstone to a gospel jazz ensemble is the piano. Carrie Brooks, an accomplished pianist, is noted in the community for the talented way that she can "tickle the ivories."
								Kate Schuman, noted country, R&B, and jazz singer is also a songwriter. Her vocal versatility and lyric sensitivity added immensely to the concert.
